Boromedo Hotel and International Conference Center

Boromedo Hotel and International Conference Center is in the Zen town of Lingshan, Wuxi. It is a recreational resort hotel with a Buddhist and Zen culture theme.  It is also the permanent site to host the World Buddhist Forum. The hotel has more than 400 guest rooms and 13 conference rooms. The largest banquet hall is 1,500 square meters, which can accommodate nearly 1,000 people.

The interior design theme contains three key elements: Flower, Smile, and Bay. In the public spaces, the guest rooms and the conference center, natural elements, such as mountains and clouds, ran through the outline of the interior decorative components. Ancient elements such as cloud panels, bamboo knots and square lanterns were worked into lighting fixtures and furniture.           

Lighting was carefully designed for every space. All of the lighting fixtures were equipped with high efficiency, energy saving and low glare LEDs. The color rendering of the LED light source was more than 90, providing a high-quality lighting environment. The design not only enhanced visual comfort but also highlighted the artistic expression of the space and created a comfortable Zen atmosphere for every visitor.

The hotel lobby, public corridors, elevator halls, and other public spaces used an intelligent lighting dimming control system that can be programmed to adapt to the changing natural environment.  This system met many different functional needs, while maximizing energy saving.
