1st Buddhist Architectural Lighting Design Forum

From November 16th to 18th, 2018, the “First Buddhist Architectural Lighting Design Forum” was successfully organized by China Illumination Engineering Society (CIES) and professional medium platform “First Design” in Wuxi, Jiangsu. There were 231 participates from 23 cities in China, including architects, interior designers, lighting designers, contractors, system integrators, lighting manufactures, and developers. Richard Wang, general manager and design director of ATL Lighting Design (Shanghai) Company gave a keynote speech on “Exploration of Lighting Design in Buddhist Cultural Buildings” in the forum. Richard shared case studies of ATL’s award-winning Buddhist cultural projects, highlighting the crucial role of lighting design in the integrated expression of Buddhist culture with architecture and environment.
