Thousand-Buddha Hall – Usnisa Palace

The five-story Thousand Buddha Hall on the ground floor of the Unisian Palace is the core visiting space. In the center of the Thousand Buddha Hall, there is a sacred pagoda of the Buddha’s skeleton. It is named as the Great Sacrifice Pagoda, which is the largest indoor Chinese-Tibetan world Pagoda in China. It is surrounded by a thousand statues of Bodhisattva and flying apsaras, creating a magnificent “Buddha’s Heavenly Boundary”.

The Lighting design is to address the basic visiting function, and more important, to highlight the core of Unisian Palace, the Great Sacrificed Pagonda, and the thousand Buddha statues. Due to the unique space of the hall, the shape of statues, and the three-story platform of the pagoda, an ultra-narrow beam LED lighting projection system in a long distance is adopted. With the intelligent control function, it creates different levels of space atmosphere by outlining the decorative facade through a variety of lighting scenes setup.
