Yuan Jia Village

The Tong Meng Town (also known historically as Yuan Jia Village) project was part of an important construction project in Henan province in 2017. The project covers an area of 400,000 square meters. It is created to be the first holiday resort in China’s central plain, with the theme “Revitalize the old Yuan Jia Village – eat, play, shop and stay well”. The core of the resort is a village style main street, creating and demonstrating the evolving local culture and custom dating back to the Ming and Qing Dynasties (AD1386 – 1912).  It is also created to be a showcase for ecological and green living style. 

 ATL consultants designed the village nightscape lighting scheme based on local, rural, and natural elements. The lighting was designed to highlight the buildings and maintain a natural village atmosphere, without needing to use new lighting technologies that are commonly used in city and landscape lighting. To maintain the rustic touch of the buildings, the appearance and shape of lighting fixtures are purposely processed with old treatment. With warm color LED inside, these functional and old-style LED fixtures create a more comfortable and nostalgic night atmosphere.
